spent my new year's eve with daph and sam.
met up at bedok in the late afternoon before taking a bus down to east coast park!
daph's idea of going there to cycle.
and reminiscing our secondary school days.
laughters.
gossiping.
daph's bitching.
and talking about friends' childbirth.
etc etc..
HAHAH.
cycled till night time and it was a trouble deciding on a place for our dinner. i realised whenever i try doing any night activities, my eyesight gets kind of poor. =/
daph, this "tourist" who's back from australia just once or twice a year insisted on chinese food and we dont know why, the threesome ended up in bugis, having steamboat.
a super duper long queue at every shop + a long wait for our double soup base to boil.
totally famished and yet we had our dinner at almost 10pm.
lucky we had sam here, the voluntary prawn peeler. heee..
the sad thing was, there wasnt any countdown celebration at bugis area and we dont intend to go anywhere further than that. heard explosion of fireworks from marina though and headed home sweet home shortly after 12am. =D
and i'm really surprised at how long we have known one another. it has been 7 years! i simply cant believe it, but of course brought myself to believe this eventually.
and bout 5 years since i have last dialled their house numbers and yet i am still able to remember it at the back of my mind. still remember those days when we see each other in school everyday and still able to talk on the phone for hours every night. hoho~
awed by my good memory. even though they are just numbers which i have not dialled for a long long time.
a new year, new start, but old me!
