woots~ for most mobile phone contracts, it will have to last for a period of 2 years, 24 months. and to avoid any 'penalty' imposed, we can only upgrade our plan or handset after the 21st month. ivy got so bored of her current mobile phone that she called starhub 1633 and asked for an early recontract. she actually picked up all these crappp while she was working with singtel. hehee. they got back to me after a few working days and told me that i can upgrade my handset, which is my mobile phone in this case and the 100 bucks is being waived off for me! on top of that, a $50 voucher will be given to offset the cost for my new handphone.the amount of voucher is just based on your usage per month. ohh well, 50 bucks is better than having nothing. :DDDheee. learnt all these from the singtel consumers. however, i think i still do prefer starhub to the other service providers. initially i had wanted to get a sony ericsson W995. but the camera of 8.1 megapix does not even have a flash! =(and so, i express my interest in another phone now. =Pi still have another one month to decide. :)
