yesterday when i was walking out from iluma, a guy in his black polo tee uniform passed me a phamplet.
i was a little reluctant about receiving it in the first place, but i took it anyway. from a distance, that phamplet looked totally like advertisements of a sleazy hotel. =/
but i came to realise that kbox is actually expanding and they have called themselves the k-suites. a brand new concept, only at iluma level 3 i assume.
the photos of the rooms looked cosier and there are even beds, if i'm not wrong. haha.
well, i guess it's worth a try ;)

yesterday. darling and i assembled at downtown east at freaking EIGHT THRTY in the morning for a food ration distribution organised by Nebo. it took me almost 2 hours to get there alright. =/
saw this event thru an email sent to me. thought it could be a really meaningful event to spend our saturday away.
briefing, collection of the donated food packs and off we are, to the designated households for the distribution.
a lil tiring but i still hope more families could be benefitted from our event.
spent like 10 hours with darling and i assume we were all dead beat after that. because i fell asleep even before 9pm yesterday night. had my super sufficient sleep :DD

hotpot culture at Marina Square this afternoon. finally giving her a treat after our 6 month of internship. :)
has been some time since weifang and i had meet up with ms catherine.
the threesome chit chatted almost 4 hours over a meal. it was a buffet lunch/dinner which is available from 12 noon till closing; that's why we're allowed to have the luxury of having a quiet place to talk and eat at the same time.
learnt alot from catherine. things ranging from further studies till exercise, diet and slimming. even got some of the juicy insider's information in BE.
overall, we wont really recommend that place to dine unless you have really really run out of dining ideas. poor service, poor food.

finally, yesterday was our hotpot gathering for all classmates at ben's house. well, my ex-classmates barrh. the date had been tentative to changes and it was finally confirmed last night.
the turnout rate was 8 person for the dinner and the host was nice enough to prepare 2 person to one hotpot. or rather, the maids?
after which, was mahjong session with the girls :D ivy's a total noobie in this. have not been hardworking in picking up the skills =/

for most mobile phone contracts, it will have to last for a period of 2 years, 24 months. and to avoid any 'penalty' imposed, we can only upgrade our plan or handset after the 21st month.
ivy got so bored of her current mobile phone that she called starhub 1633 and asked for an early recontract. she actually picked up all these crappp while she was working with singtel. hehee.
they got back to me after a few working days and told me that i can upgrade my handset, which is my mobile phone in this case and the 100 bucks is being waived off for me! on top of that, a $50 voucher will be given to offset the cost for my new handphone.
the amount of voucher is just based on your usage per month. ohh well, 50 bucks is better than having nothing. :DDD
heee. learnt all these from the singtel consumers. however, i think i still do prefer starhub to the other service providers.
initially i had wanted to get a sony ericsson W995. but the camera of 8.1 megapix does not even have a flash! =( and so, i express my interest in another phone now. =P i still have another one month to decide. :)

spent lunch time with deary today.
i would say we're so 'cute' not to realise that it is a vegetarian dining place before deciding on dining there.
afterall, the food is still acceptable.
whatever edible food taste good when i'm having it with you.
a shopping list has got to be accomplished by the end of this holidays! not forgetting my hair rebonding and dental appointment before school starts =/
on the other hand, my previous liaison officer sounded that she really miss weifang and i lots. she have had lots of complaints regarding her current IAP and ITP students. was really surprised to hear from her what the students did to her. hmm.. hope her young passion in teaching will not died out because of it.
weifang and i had tried to make her cultivate more interest in teaching in the past semester and hopefully, it has not gone to waste!
the 3 of us shall meet up soon! for a celebration of "whatever results we're getting" :D

paid a visit to my ah ma today.
after which, my mum and i brought her to town to eat and shoppp!
from Plaza Sing to Orchard Central, i didnt really expect us to spend 4 whole hours.
and i think i'm the 'weakest' of all =(
my mum and my grandma said they were not even feeling tired and yet, i got a little listless already.

afterall, a fruitful day it was. and i actually spent more than 2 days of pay on lingerie today =/

no more part time jobs.
the 2 days of work at the Comex IT show had already ended. had always wanted to try out jobs at roadshows and now i finally did.
great experience. met a lot of nice people and the job itself was actually quite a slack one.
some of the staff even commented that i'm eligible to work for singtel, now that i know so much of how it works.

last day of work at singtel shop. and it's the busiest day ever, excluding the saturdays.
open season for iPhone, which means consumers can just purchase them straight away instead of having to do the online registration and stuff.
i'm no longer getting paid to stand and pose~! i think it's good to try various types of part time jobs now as we would be stuck to a full time job which will be more long term. =/ different experience gained :D

bon voyage to alvina who is going to US for her internship for a freaking long period of 6 months. and i dont wanna see her back with a few ang moh boys hurhur. xP
feel kinda bad when i always cannot make it for our 4/8 Fate gathering or meeting up. have been missing out quite a few already. =(
anyway, it's mommy's birthday yesterday! missed out on her birthday last year as i was on my immersion programme. and yet, i still gotta work on the 6th sept this year.
as i am afraid that my parents would fight, i bought pressies for both my mum and dad. hehee. in the end they begin to compare this and that; with all smiles.

the last day of my work is gonna be on tuesday! SOON!
after earning some Vitamin M for myself, i have also made plans for my last 5 weeks of holidays. :D
- daily morning workout (hopefully i'll have the determination & perseverance) - movie marathons (just realised i have more than 10 VCDs and downloaded movies readily available) - shopping sprees with mum - hit the gym (maybe just a few sessions) - pay a visit to the previous internship company :) - read up notes for my next semester ("wonder how true") - finish my "time traveller's wife" book - dental appointment (for my 2nd wisdom tooth =/ ) - voluntary work (waiting for any news from li ping) - catching up/ meeting up with so many many friends! (no more procrastination) :DDD
and of course, spending quality time with my precious!

work starts to get a little tiring for me. i followed my dull routine everyday of waking up, work, get home, shower, phone chats and more or less time for bed again.
some of my colleagues even thought i'm an internship student! i cant believe how boring work will be for these business admin attachment students for that seven weeks. =/
this afternoon, when i got back from my break, i saw some of the managers carrying out their lunar seventh month rituals being ridiculous.
can you imagine that they burnt joss sticks and light up candles in that small and narrow store which is used to keep all the brand new mobile phones? yupp, they did it there. i think they're abit *ahem ahem* >.<
random: - singtel actually earns three times more than DBS?? hmm that i dunno. - i have finally found a 1.93m guy who's willing to donate me TEN CENTIMETRES! ( not that i'm unsatisfied of my own height now ) :D
