well, get the kick out of blogging. hence, i am back again =)
i cant rmb when was the last time i went out with my parents and without my bro. really felt like a 'lightbulb' at times larrh =X
went out shopping today and i caught JADE SEAH! no kidding, but she is alot prettier than in person. =D but ohh well, to me, she is not as interesting as all the bags i saw today!
saw a sisley bag on the shelf and i loveeeeeeeeeeee it @ first sight. saw it, walked past it, and i went back for it! =P super duper happy after i paid for it; cos it's my own money used. and i'm still wondering how it appeals to me after i got home =/
anyway, yesterday was friday again ♥ it was seriously a very hectic week that both weifang and i only managed to blink once and 5 days have gone by. tired tired tiring~ but at least it has been productive.
met up with huixian, grace, novri and jianhua. and i seriously didn expect huixian's reaction to be soooooooooooooooo huge can! haiyoyo~ not like i just came back from abroad.
a short dinner and most of them headed back home. but i didnt want to. and howkiat called; drove novri and i to dempsey hill for ice creammmm. ben came along too =) the ambience there is nice. but the most exciting part throughout the night was teasing him i guess. and all the little things we saw huh, novri? xP
well, at least i enjoyed my day and next week is another week to chiong again! anyway, goody goody good luck to those who are having common tests & exams next week de! ♥

and my colleague, daniel made fun of my name. =/ luckily my surname is tan and not WO (or is there such a surname?). wo hui juan. hahaha.
that was when the finance manager, thomas was giving out my pay cheque to me. he asked for my chinese name as they dun put in our christian name for fear the transaction might not be successful. i should say they are really really efficient. cos we just submitted our monthly time sheet and we are able to get our pay today =DDD and he nearly took back my cheque after i praised them for the efficiency.
hope there will be more events such as talks and workshops for me to interact more, even with those staff over at Shaw House. they are really nice people =)
anyway anyway, i'm done with my piles and piles of workload today. from tml onwards, it will jus be my normal amount of workload barrh. doing boring tasks to pass my time. sighs...

this morning was a totally terrible day! when i was going to work, the LRT waiting frequency is around 4 times longer than usual larrh. was late but at least i managed to get my name in the morning announcement (something like our attendance sheet). company's policy of emphasising on punctuality o.O
i thought it was bad enuff already but i still had an persisting IT problem that made my morning a grouchy one. my computer was unable to log into the company's server! which means i dun have access to all the drives that i am working on. tried and tried and tried and finally got log on. numberous times of turning on and off my PC >.<
tuesday blues~
on a happier happy note, had a great lunch hour with weifang and my LO this afternoon.
ms catherine was only supposed to come down to collect back our interim reports (she actually gave us time to improve on it. shhhhh~) and i asked her out for lunch.
she drove and brought us to the Singapore Mariner's Club de Mariner's Corner for lunch. a very cosy and english place indeed. didnt expect to spot such a place at tanjong pagar, along cantonment road there.
the threesome did have alot of topics to talk bout. from experience, to the industry, school lecturers, studies and colleagues. didn expect her to know so much from our ngee ann lecturers and of course some of the gossips here and there. =X
she drove us back to the office only after the heavy rainstorm had turned into a little drizzle. we took nearly 2 and a half hour break! =P
sad to say, my workload pile is getting bigger and bigger each day. so because i was not working on friday. accumulated since then. this week has been such a hectic one that i did not even manage to find time to feel sleepy or to give a yawn. only feel so drained when i am on my way home. arghh..
BUT some of my colleagues are just so sweet. sometimes they would put breakfast on my desk before i came for work; cute lil muffins with love for tea break; goodies brought from abroad to share with us. =DD

i wanna carry out some volunteer work or community service!no news from the staff over at NUH and SGH even though i had already approached them face to face. so much for appreciating their help for checking out with the other departments.
and i believe i wont be given the priority of the Laos community service trip in march 2010. after miss catherine alerted us of the huge response from the year 2s and what mr sim had said. i have seriously considered on going on those trips alone, without friends known before that.

interim report submission today. had a long talk with weifang, ms catherine and mr kenneth. bout the industry and of course, our colleagues. well, at least they are on our side barrh =)
came school at one plus but gotta wait for the 2 misters to be done with their printing & binding of reports till 5 plus.
met up with a few classmates. headed down to ben's house for rock band and mahjong >.< after which, ben led the way to the Singapore Island Country Club for dinner.
the photo-taking session was our "dessert" and we had fun trying to take photos with the water facade =P

weeee~ finally done with my IAP interim report. hmm actually i have been on it for agggggggggges. took a very long time to do bit by bit. but at least i am done and over with it now. no use of other sources and thus, i have no references at all. maybe it is becos i have been on it for ages, i dun feel impressed by my own work. i dunno if others do. anyway, submission date on friday. =DD
work can either be very sian or very busy. sometimes i can even be so engrossed at my own computer screen that i forgot the surroundings i am in. and i think the papers dislike me! have been getting cuts on both my hands by PAPER lehh. once is okay, but a few times is probably.... my own carelessness larrh =P
anw, the june holidays are coming~ i wanna relax and enjoy! i'm sure i would be able to apply for leave like how the others did. arghh.. 12 more weeks to go.
but i still need a life.

Finally!!
Both grace and i went for swimming cum sun tanning today after a last minute decision!!!
Wad a relaxing day it was!
She came over to my house before we went down for swimming. AND! the funny thing was that we kept on moving from one area to another just to sun tan overselves. After all, we still feel that Sentosa is the best place to sun tan. So gals, that shall be our next stop??? (:

last night i couldnt sleep for a little while. all thanks to daph for starting a msn conversation with you when i was bout to go to sleep.
telling me how much she missed sec school life, especially during lower sec. yea... how true. i actually spent some time thinking back at all the memories that were left. how sweet~
lesson time and CCA both took 50-50 of my time in secondary school. even though band practices are only 2 out of 6 days! huai nian~

sadly, i lost all my prom photos and those photos that were taken before sec 4. cos they were all in my PC but it had kena virus already. no attempt to retrieve it back. hence.... ='( but i can actually remember alot of them vividly.
so when's the next 2/10 or 4/8 gathering coming up? hehee.
i realised, when i looked back at those photos and thought of the past,
it made me smile instead of anything else.
they had already became my beautiful memories.

I LOVE FRIDAYS!
met up with classmates on friday. well, attendance was considered pretty good i guess. 8 of us (novri, grace, huixian, ben, jianhua, alan and howkiat) turned up. dinner was at nihon mura (sushi village) over at the cathay. quite a nice time catching up with friends.
after which, we wanted a movie. but regardless of whatever shows, the tickets were all selling fast in town areas. hence, we settled for "the uninvited" at AMK Hub. but huixian, novri and ben did not managed to join us.
the movie was pretty okie, not as boring as i expect it to be. and a lil scary from the visual cum sound effects it had. felt sorry for alan for pulling his shirt a few times. =X
and really thankful to howkiat for sending everyone of us back. it already took me one and a half hour to get home lorrh. can see that he was really tired though. from amk to serangoon to woodlands to jurong west and then to panjang. =P
i seriously need a good night sleep during this weekend! argh~

TO MY DEAREST DAD!
hope you love the pressie and cake. and of cos the surprise. how could we forget your birthday lehh! =D
anyway, next friday is gonna be our submission date for our interim report already. 2 months plus passed kinda fast huh. hopefully i am able to edit my report to make it a better one each time. and all the best for those who are not even halfway worr. really anxious for you all too =S
btw, i heard from mr soo that there is gonna be a compulsory 4 hour workshop, PPP for all year three students. teaching us the preparation stuff after we graduate from poly. probably the monday or tuesday during the common test week barrh. yeah! off day again! =D
surprise that i saw mr soo too! our ex MES lecturer. hahaha. the only 2 incidents that he remembered so clearly were;
- the time where we 4 girls were eating at the woodlands hawker centre (till now, he still thot i'm living at woodlands when he saw me at lot one) - he called me the "bugis bookstore girl". just becos he saw me working as the cashier on a random saturday morning. hahaha.
and! i was nearly late for work today! missed one train at cck and FOUR trains over at jurong east. what a coincidence but i saw fatty louis again this morning.
not that i wanna call him fat, BUT how can i ever imagine a person putting on 30kg after the time when i graduated from sec school. from a initial 70kg (we alr call him fat during sec 2 or 3), to 80kg. reason being the stress for o levels. gym workout pushed his weight up by 20kgs after that. so now, his weight is a scary 100kg. totally unbelievable with a glance at him. anw really wish him all the best in losing weight. heeee =)

Wad a busy week!! Ytd was the first time i slept at 4.30 AM just to complete the draft report that have to be shown to our advisor on Wednesday! ARGH! I end up dragging myself out of bed! But at least our efforts were not wasted as our advisor seems kinda satified except for some amendments!! (:

And, today, "one" of my friend ask Grace and me one question that we actually cannnot give her an immediate answer. Although it is a simple question but to come out with the correct meaning of the sentence is not easy.

1 year anniversary since the tremendous earthquake took place in Sichuan. many lives were lost including innocent children. lots of empathy & sympathy for those who lost their kins in this disaster ='(
sad events took place one by one. an incident that actually took place in my own office.
the ngee ann girl who is my working partner so-called, has been transferred from PM to my department, VAL. she is finally released from all the stress that she had been bearing throughout these 2 months. and i should say i'm feeling glad for her. the director and the senior property executive were the most torturous people to her. i think they are the only 2 in the department barrh. even gave her unnecessary work and stress her on the deadline. how can i ever imagine that an intern will have sucidal thoughts over an intership! my goodness! she even got her mum's permission on quitting her attachment. meaning fail this one whole semester lehh. AND SHE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE! this department is just 2 years old yet 4 colleagues resigned just last month. one of them is even the 'founder' of the department. in this month, 3 other colleagues tendered their resignation letters; one of them had only came for a week. imagine that. so hard to work with. this problem has been getting to our liaison officer to lecturers to staff at shaw house to staff in our office and finally to my head of department. that was why she got transferred to the same department as i am barrh. with the most friendly colleagues, i hope she will do fine here! anyway, i have also been tolerating this stupid politics shit cos she will complain to me now and then. so now, i'm venting it out here. crap shit. whahaha.
ohh man~ it's gonna be 12 soon! i am still trying to keep my policy of sleeping before 12. but it seems hard to follow huh. tml will be another brand new day.
fatty louis, i dunno if we will be so coincident again to meet in the same train. from bt panjang to dover where you alight, we always 'meet' at dover only lorrh. and now i kinda know your SP timetable le worr. tml it's 8am again and we shall see if we will be able to meet at the 3rd cabin of the train. HAHA.

BBQ started at 6pm last night. reached school at 6pm, earlier than most of my classmates lorrh. an optimistic number of classmates turned up and, lots of familiar year 3 faces. did some catching up and crapping.
the year 1 and 2 girls are so xiao jie, never stayed near the pit at all. however, the guys are more helpful. they did help out for the BBQ. not forgetting jiaqi and yinghua. should be nominated the best BBQ-ers worr.
ben's rock band did not seem to work, luckily. if not i wont know what time they wanna stay till. whole bunch of 9 people headed to changi village in 3 cars. after my initial suggestion. howkiat was the first to agree with me.
should have memorised the way there. since i have been there so many times. haiyo. poor sense of direction anyway.
girls and guys, sat at separated tables. the girls ordered different types for food. totally indulged. nice catching up and gathering session.
was sent all way home from changi. =) more time to come for us to catch up! <3 catch up on catching up, not catch up for teasing kk. ps. i guess we had too much crapping and fun that we forgot to take pictures!!! =(
i think it is better for us this way, dont you think so? at least i am, happier. a blessing in disguise, you can call it. kinda irritating when ppl probed bout you. the lecturers, juniors and even the cheers auntie. sighs. hope you are doing fine. =))

Feeling very tired at the thought of coming work but at least my workplace is fun! The head of department was on leave today and it was already havoc liao worr! Most of us slacked and do work at the same time!
Especially one guy colleague who has the characteristics of a monkey, with a lot of his relationship theories. And he can only treat us to starbucks only if the market crash even further =/ depressing! But totally made everyone in the office LOLOL.
However, the most havoc incident of the day was a fire explosion at a construction site near the Marina Bay IR. The news was even posted at the Channel News Asia online forum.
Most of us heard it four times. And soon, we saw everyone ran to the board room for a clear and unobstructed view. Black smoke. Workers running. Fire engine arrived.
Anyway, work is getting more and more boring for me I think. On Tuesday, I started slacking at 5pm, which is one hour before my work ends. On Wednesday, I started to rot halfway at 430pm. TODAY, I had finished all my tasks quick and had nothing on hand at 330pm. Sighs.
Not that I am lazy kk. And I will be back to school tml. Like finally! See you guys soon! <3

Ellos ppl, after so long i am back to blogging again.. have been MIA-ing all these while.. hahax..
Hmm.. lemme just summarise the whole of last week..
Met up with Aivee, WJ and Ben for dinner last Thursday and she TOLD me STH which i was rather shock la.. Think among the four of us, i am the only one who was not aware about it.. AS for the details, shall not disclose any further.. hahax.. Upon which we head for the arcade since we could not think of anything else to do.. AND! Aivee and i took our first neo print tgt!! hahax.. Had so much fun changing the background while editing the pictures!! too bad the guys dun wanna take with US! Anyway, Day ended well with a group photo of the four of us! (:
As for the remaining 3 days of holiday, i spend time at home completing 170+ episodes of my korean shows. COOL huhs. hahax.
O ya! Just ytd, Novri, Grace and miie, went over to our DEAR aivee workplace to have lunch with her! It has been so long since all four of us sat down for a meal le!! But before that, we spend like half an hour looking for a "suitable and COMFORTABLE" place to settle down for lunch. And we end up eat Sakae Sushi which was at the initial location when we met up!
You should have seen the way we eat as though we are deprived of food! AND we ended up being too full from finishing our main course! Had a great time chatting and catching up with each other! so gals, shall meet up soon for a "Coffee, Tea or MEE" session or a k box session ya?? hahax..

Weeee~ my 3 darlings ended class at 12pm and they came all the way to raffles place to have lunch together with me!
hunted for a proper place and finally settled on SAKAE SUSHI! the way we are eating is like we were starving for 2 days larrh! hehee. ordered udon, sushi and chawanmushi =) and needless to say, my lunch time took up almost 2 hours again. oops!
Anyway, thanks novri for the macdonald’s doraemon toy and keychain worr. Hahaha. Hmm we shall all go for an island getaway during one of the holidays ayes. =D
And mother’s day coming! I still haven plan how to celebrate worr, not even the pressie. Hahah =P
