valentine's day 2oo9!

It was V day yesterday!
baby was the one who came up with the plans after i told him i wanted something simple, nice and sweet. thus, we met up with one another at around 10.30am. baby wanted to have some good dim sum; which will be the Red Star restaurant along chin swee road. not to boast about it, it serves tasty and up-to-standard dim sum even though they do not have one hundred and one types of it. =DD every weekend will always be THAT crowded!
the first time i tried roast pigeon! it is just so SMALL! overcome a little of my psychological barrier of eating meat other than chicken, fish and pork.
we were like gluttons and our great appetite resulted in a 50++ bill. a satisfying brunch i should say! =DD
carrying our bloated tummies, we decided to take a walk down this park with countless number of steps (which is a longer route to the MRT station).
next stop, east coast park to cycle! cycling doesnt sound anything new to us, but this is our first time trying on a double bike together.

and we actually wanna find a good spot to catch the sunset. good spot found, but the sun not found! it was a cloudy day and we could not even see where the sun is actually at. a little disappointing though.

even before the sun had set, miss huixian rang my phone and we met at marina square. =)) we were feeling abit uncomfortable wearing shorts and slippers there, but we just did not expect it barrh. hahaa. baby even went to Topman to buy his new pair of jeans.
well, what i wanted to hear from miss ng was already so predictable. hmm shall not release too much info here barrh. hehehee. anyway, what is worst is that all of them (huixian, novri and gracie) have all taken dinner and we have not! =(
baby wanted to try Yuki Yaki at marina square and the waitress added us to a 5 pages long of waiting list. terrible horrible. i nearly wanna gave up on waiting but baby was so insistent that i dun want to be shao xin. =P and our last resort cum back-up plan was initially subway or macdonalds larrh! super saddening horr.
but we were lucky! so, our dinner started at 910pm. haha. we did our grilling and the cooking of food in both the pots and the teppanyaki style. funnnnnnnnn, but busy as you have to take care of your food in both areas. glad baby and i enjoyed the dinner.

it was almost 12am after baby sent me home. super uber tiring. i have a report to rush the next day and baby has to do his revision for his test on monday.
i enjoyed both valentine's day spent with you and your pressie & card. LOVES.
