we were lucky that PYM lecture ended one hour earlier than usual on friday.movie date with baby.bride wars =Dthese days we have been looking for unique places; be it for food or entertainment. and on friday, we were at paradiz centre (newly renovated) and happened to see a eatery that seems like a japanese restaurant. went up to check it out and found that it was a JAPANESE FOODCOURT! wow amazed!there are a few stalls in it and many different types of japanese food. we tried the omu rice and ramen. i should say its worth the $$ because they are really yummy and the prices are just a little steeper than those in foodcourt. kind of explored another place for food again. =P

lessons resume on the 3rd day of CNY!arghh! there are only EIGHT of us who came for class.anyway we really did nothing much throughout the day. XPlessons ended as early as 4pm.baby and i decided to go for a movie at causeway point. but we were actually quite spoilt for choices. there are so many so many movies that i wanna catch! =Din the end,SIGH! there wasn't any movie in favour of our timing.and! we went to the arcade. behaved totally like kids lo. and i love challenge baybeh!spent around 1 hour there and 630pm on the dot, we went for our sakae buffet dinner!ages since i ate during a buffet le.
at the beginning, baby was boasting to me how many plates he can really eat. and i even want to challenge him upfront. after 40 mins or so, he cant really eat anymore! whahaha. cant believe i was the one ordering food whereas he gave an expression like this,
*such a pathetic handroll!*
we dined for 2 hours at the restaurant and i left with such a bloated tummy. nearly vomitted kk. and guess how many plates did we eat in total.
less than thirty! prolly bout 25 plates barrh. hehee.
and i plan to cut down on every meal i eat. i am serious and not kidding. just that i dunno if i will succeed anot larrh. warning! might defeat to food eventually. =X

2nd day of CNY!
long time since we took a family photo le. hehee.
most of the adults played blackjack and mahjong. but i played with rachel !! seriously need time to play and coax her before she is willing to open up and talk to you. =D
lunched at my grandfather's house. crampy house but with many many relatives! makde it feel so cosy. and my grandfather also dishes up the most yummy traditional food. but i need to control my diet! xP
feel guilty about not being able to fork out time on any other day to drop by their house.
hardly have time to do so might be an excuse. hmm can really see that the elderly are REALLY getting on in their age and it would be heart-wrenching to see that the younger generation do not show enough care and concern to them.
dinner was at maurice's house! his mum 'invited' me over for dinner and also to ban nian lorrh. the meal was not as simple as they claimed to be. at least i made myself useful when helping out in the kitchen kk.
and thanks baby, for sending me all the way home! =))

1st day of CNY!totally dun have the festive atmostphere this year. but the thought of collecting ang baos and having a brand new year, a brand new start makes me feel bouncy. 1st day was to my maternal grandma's house. yupp, we kinda broke the tradition ever since i was young! but we are already so used to visiting my mum's side on the 1st day le. i think the most fun part was, when my cousins found something that they can have fun with! phew~ at least i dun have to run around with them and be their nanny at the same time. TA-DA!they found...the imported african parrots!from my ah ma's neighbour.
my favourite cousin! 9 year old callie yak! <3love it when she suddenly come up to you and hug you tightly. hmm.. so cosy! =))

well, today is already the chinese new year eve.
however, i dun feel much of the joyous atmosphere. prolly because of the escalating project works in the last 2 weeks or the recent economic recession.
so so so many things have been happening around me; be it good or bad. just wanna have a happy and fortunate year 2009!
do cherish all the people around you & treasure the kinship and friendship with one another! they should not be taken for granted! <3

finally back to blogging again!
over one whole busy week of assignments and presentations' deadlines!
and you know what, our poor group had even stayed back at the atrium till 1030pm last thursday. and cabbed down to one of our group member's house at 7 plus in the next morning. making all of us feeling so lethargic and at the same time, still gotta be prepared for the formal presentation.

finally they are all done! except RER, which the presentation is only going to be after chinese new year.
i was wondering if this is also going to happen after i am back form IAP. overloading of SEVERAL modules, the amount of projects, quizzes, assignments, common tests and exams are definitely enuff to make my face turn pale =/

i was still so delighted when last term was totally for slacking. and end up,... =(

i had just got to know that i had gotten into IAP for next semester. seriously no happy feelings bout it though that was what i planned to get into.

so today i just so happened to do some self-reflections on myself, like again. HAHAHA.and realised that i dun even have some talents in myself! how sad can that sounds?i reckon if someone comes up to me and ask to give a talent performance, that's nothing i can really think of.i like to sing. but dun sing well =Si wanna learn dancing, but just dun have that motivation.it's cool to learn a new language. but i only know english, mandarin, teochew and some basic japanese =(i seriously cant excel in sports. though i like netball, basketball, badminton, cycling and skippinggg!my studies. just isn't THAT good.learn more musical instruments. i only know how to play on my alto saxophone and nothing else le barrh! only managed to learn some major chords on guitar, cant even coordinate well on keyboard, and the same goes for my drum set. i still need someone to help me step to hit the bass drum =P and my chinese dizi is happily rotting in my cardboard since day 1. how pessimistic of me! but i guess it's time for me to start picking up new things. bahh~-aivee- finished blogging @ 11.23pm

well, time is tight once sch reopens!
hardly have time to bloggg!
tuesday.
gotta set up a booth selling white chocolate fondue with my I&E group mates.
it sounds boring. it sounds tiring. BUT we still gotta carry out in action. >.<
met up with ken and kai xun in the morning only on the day itself. bought lots of fruits and chocolate and they even accompanied me when i went to howkiat's house to collect his fondue machine. so nice of him to lend it to us barhh! what friends are for. HAHAHA. =DD
managed to meet huishan in school after her photocopying of the posters. and started our business at the convention underpass at almost 12pm! super exciting~ though i heard from friends that I&E = most likely losing money.
but the fun started when we sold our first fondue stick larrh. a $2 stick with a strawberry, banana, apple, grape and marshmallows! some of my dear friends came down to support as well and baby even came down specially to purchase 3 sticks! so niceee~
the most interesting part was when the rotary of the machine was loosened and it swept more than 50% of our white chocolate on the ground, the table and on kai xun's tee!! all 4 of us screamed and attracted SOME attention. hahaha. super sick to clean up the sticky choco but it was worthy of a good great laugh!
in the end, our team of 4 earned profit of $11 plus. a little unbelievable for us as we had already have that kinda mindset that we CANT earn! or prolly just break even.
closed shop at 5pm and acc baby to find his friends for a dinner at bugis. a farewell dinner for one of his into-army-soon friend. alllllllllllll the way till 11pm when we took bus back!
tired tired day!
wednesday.
gonna get back 3 papers for our common tests. would not be expecting good grades this time round cos it's really really last min revision. but the results were still to my expectations barrh. heee. =DD

2nd day of the NEW YEAR and its my birthday!! So fast i am another year older!
But that doesn't mean the fun ends here. Although went to work this morning but met up with Twinny, Aivee, Maurice, Jian Hua and Alan for dinner at Fish & co.
I thought that it would be difficult to find people who shares the same birthday as me. But who noes that there are still a few people in there who also celebrate the same birthday with me!! (:
Was supposed to go mind's cafe to play games but as expected it was full house so we went for a DRINK and chat with each other!! pretty juicy answers/questions through this conversation! hehex.
Was a short day with them but really enjoyed myself though Darling NOVRI tried to come back but could not make it back on time. Thanks for the MSG despite you being overseas!! (:

HAPPY NEWWWWWWWW YEAR 2009!
for the past few years, i came up with new year resolutions even before the old year ends. but for now, i shall do it on the 1st day of the year!
1. good health for everyone. health is more worthy than wealth.
2. success in everything we do! never try to give up easily.
3. goody good good results. i will strive.

new year eve. silosa beach partaye! decided to go for the countdown with baby and 7 of his friends. met up at harbourfront in the late evening. but 2 of baby's friends were even later. only managed to get into sentosa island at around 9pm.
woah~ not as many people as i expected it would be, you know. went to get our one and only complimentary drink (bacardi and pineapple) before hitting the dance floor.
it was super duper tiring to dance non stop lorrh! phew~ still prefer to dance on flat ground rather than the sand =X
bought some alcoholic drinks to get ourselves high and their service at the booth was really slow! ALMOST missed our countdown cum fireworks lehh! their alcoholic drinks & beers are 8 bucks per cup lorrh. but i think their mineral water is more pricey; $4 for one small plastic cup. lols o.O
throughout the night, we just danced, talked , slacked and drank. =D love the time when we sat near the coast and talked. like what baby said, we felt as if we were really in our own world. oops!
and i think it was the foam party that made everyone dirty. eee~ i dun really like that! cos i didnt bring my undergarments with me. how forgetful! and those foreigner guys were really over-sociable that they go around asking girls to dirty dance with them, grab waists and kiss their cheek. =S
it was only until 6 plus that we gotta stop all our partying. washed up and decided to have mac breakfast. hmm surprisingly i didnt feel hungry throughout the night.
everyone was like walking zombie even when eating breakfast. hahaha. ate till 8 plus before baby sent me back by bus. =)) only went to sleep at 10 plus. argh!
hope patrick lin can send us all the pictures soonnnnnnnn.
baby, so soon we celebrated our 2nd new year together le. like you said, we promised to be more loving this year and hope not to have as many conflicts & misunderstandings as before. teddy teddy hug hug <333

yes, silly baby did not go home after his lessons at 10am on friday. instead, he looked for things to do until 5pm, when i was dimissed. how silly huh!
