palau ubin trip 2 days ago!!!
have never been there before larrh. only until maurice suggested to go there to cycle.
that is his favourite place to go cycling. haha.
he has been trying to psycho alot of our friends to come along with us but to no avail. >.<
the more the merrier, i guess that's what he wants. hahaha.
anyway,
that left only the 2 of us.
early in the morning at 9 plus, we travelled all the way to changi there to take a boat ride over. the queue for the boat ride was looooonngg.
rented bikes and off we went cycling! =))
all the rocky paths and everything. unlike east coast park where the bike paths are always so straight and smooth. alot of places available to explore on your own, i should say.
baby knows the place, so i'm just following him blindly. geez. some of the slopes are kinda tedious to cycle on and i just gotta admit my stamina isn't that good. =/
the sun was giving me a scorching denunciation and my energy level dropped more and more tremendously. stopped down for a break and had our COCONUTS. made us felt much bettter after that. haha. half way along, we saw a place which would lead us to chek jawa wetlands. no bicycles were allowed and we just to go walk in. none of us have been there as well and it was just like a nature expedition. HAHA. place was kinda cool larrh. but didnt get to see alot of living organisms cos we cant go down and have direct contact with the mud and all.
a 3 hour plus cycle and it marked the end of my perseverance. ohhh! i was suspecting i dun have them in the 1st place. we didnt get to go to the scenic quarry that baby wanted to go. cause i think that would be far, far away. that should have disappointed him i guess. though he denied. =P
went back to main land and we went for our lunch cum dinner.
after that, we went to catch the movie which he had always wanted to watch. IRONMAN. haha. headed home at 9 plus, all smelly (not really larrh huh) and sticky. lol.
